So apparently, Slumdog Millionare won Best Picture.
On a personal note, I honestly wasn't too fond of the film,
but I'm not dismissive of the opinion that it's considered
quality cinema. I personally put Slumdog Millionare
and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button in the same
category of "overfinanced oscar bait".

i wasn't as enamoured with Slumdog as everyone else was; it was simply a good movie...not amazing. However, I must correct you... Slumdog's budget was a mere 14 million and it was supposed to go straight to dvd.
